The Petzl ASAP is a compact mobile fall arrester essential for professional fall protection systems in rope access, construction, and industrial sectors. During use, the device trails the user along the rope automatically, without manual operation. In the event of a fall or uncontrolled descent (>2 m/s), the ASAP immediately locks onto the rope, even if the device is being held during the fall. Suitable for use on vertical, sloped or horizontal ropes and compatible with a semi-static line (10 to 13 mm, kernmantle rope, type A or AXIS 11 mm). Certified to CE EN 12841 type A, CE EN 353-2, ANSI Z359.15, GB/T 24537 and XF 494.
Compact and easily mid-line attachable
The ASAP is easily mid-line attachable; it can be installed or removed at any point on the rope without needing to thread the entire line. This increases efficiency and safety in fall protection applications.

Thanks to its toothed wheel, the ASAP works reliably on various rope conditions, including dirty or frozen ropes.
