The Skalt Fall Rav is an energy-absorbing lanyard with integrated shock absorber and scaffold hook, designed for professional use in fall protection systems. The Fall Rav functions as a connecting line between harness and anchorage point, combining a 2‑metre lanyard with an integrated energy absorber. It complies with EN 354 and EN 355 and is suitable for work at height in construction, industry, roofing and other applications with increased fall risk, provided the required free fall clearance is maintained.

Energy-absorbing lanyard with integrated shock absorber
The Skalt Fall Rav is equipped with an integrated shock absorber that limits arrest forces in the event of a fall to a maximum of 6 kN. The absorber consists of compactly folded webbing which is pulled out stitch by stitch during a fall, allowing controlled dissipation of fall energy. The lanyard is therefore suitable for fall arrest use, on the condition that it is replaced after any fall where the absorber has been activated.

2 m lanyard, minimum free clearance of approx. 6 m
The Fall Rav combines a lanyard of approximately 2 metres (average system length including absorber around 1.75 m) with the user’s body height and a safety margin. In practice this means a free clearance of approximately 6–6.5 metres below the working area is required to use this lanyard safely. The integrated scaffold hook enables quick and secure attachment to scaffolding or structural steel, while the lanyard is primarily intended for horizontal use, for example on roofs, in man baskets or on elevated work platforms.
